Engagement exists for a reason,
not just for waiting
This isn't about checking a box so your Church will let you get married. This is about deep, transformational growth. When you say "I do," you won't just mean it — you'll do it.
You already go to Mass on Sunday, you know prayer is important, and you communicate with your fiancé. To everyone on the outside, you are an amazing Catholic couple. So why doesn't it feel perfect?
Because everyone else is living together and using contraception — by comparison you are leagues ahead. But a good marriage isn't just the absence of sin. It's the presence of two integrated people capable of becoming saints.
The Church prays for
priestly vocations.
What about yours?
Seminarians spend years in formation — studying theology, living in community, learning how to be priests. Their vocation is treated seriously.
But engaged couples? You're facing the biggest decision of your life, and most couples get a weekend Pre-Cana retreat, a checklist of documents, maybe a mentor couple, and "just pray about it."
That's not formation. That's paperwork.
You're not just planning a wedding. You're preparing for a sacrament, a vocation, and a lifetime partnership. And most couples are completely underprepared for what's coming.
You deserve more.

We lived this
season too.
This picture was taken the day I asked Hannah if she would marry me. We were so excited to start really living our life together and then… we had to wait.
At first engagement wasn't hard, it was exciting. But as the months went on, engagement became one of the hardest seasons of our lives. And after talking to several friends, they could all relate. Engagement can be a very special season — but for most couples it isn't.
While our priest was amazing, along with our mentor couple, we felt like there was so much more we could be doing to prepare for the biggest decision of our lives. As a Church we pray all the time for priestly vocations, and seminarians spend years in intensive formation and discernment — but what about young Catholic couples?
If you want something more, we can help. This program is built from my studies of psychology, marriage and family, virtue, theology, relationships, and experience as a life coach, husband, and father. Hannah and I can't wait to talk to you and prepare you for the greatest adventure of your life.
